Regional Maritime

• Project: Refurbishment of The Regional Maritime University Welder Training Facility
• Year of execution: 2016
• Client: Modec Limited
• Client request: To refurbish an existing welder training facility and Equip it with the best welding equipment & training technology in the region to meet the AWS accreditation that will provide trainees with internationally recognized accreditation
• Our Study: Feasibilities revealed an upgrade to the power system was required, relocation of existing channels, units, etc. were all required in order to make the scope successful.
• Our Proposal: To refurbish the existing floor space and an extension to meet the client request
• Implementation: All civil, mechanical, electrical, piping and plumbing works were successfully carried out and the building was commissioned by the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Daboase Highlift

• Project: Daboase Highlift Rehabilitation and Upgrade Works
• Client: Ghana Water Company Limited
• Year: 2017
• Client request: To replace the 2nos RITz Pumps
• Our Study: There was a 15% room for pump upgrade and an Appropriate Medium voltage starter needed
• Our Proposal: To supply and Install higher output Andritz pumps along with a Rockwell MV panel
• Implementation: This project was successfully completed and water production volumes increased appreciably and less demand stress on the Power system was reduced.

Lloyd's Ville

• Project: Lloyd's Ville
• Year of execution: On-going
• Client request: Build to design of a multi-storey facility (boutique hotel) to all final finishings
• Our Study: To design and build a hotel along with a safari and a mini clinic
• Implementation: Project is on going
• Project value: 10 million dollars

3.3KV SMC Motor Control

• Project: 3.3KV SMC motor control center panel refurbishment
• Client request: To restore the said panel to working conditions
• Existing situation: The entire 4qty MV softstarter was flooded, together with all cablings etc. hence none of the pumps could run so water supply to Accra was down.
• Implementation: The MCC was refurbished with new components and rewired to manufacturer design. Quality control tests were carried out and system programming was finalized. The system was commissioned successfully- all 4qty 1000KW rated pumps at 2000m3/h were restored.

Reactive Energy Compensation Systems

• Project: Reactive energy compensation systems and Electrical audit
• Year of execution: 2013
• Client: Fuel Trade
• Client request: Carry out Electrical and mechanical audit of the existing system and implement solutions to findings
• Our Study: To design and build a hotel along with a safari and a mini clinic
• Implementation: Detailed analysis of the plant was carried out and systems were installed to cut down plant energy losses, issues to be attended to as a result of predictive maintenance activities carried out were all resolved.

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE & SYSTEM AUDIT

TRAINING

Intermerc Ghana Ltd in response to this cogent need of industry has acquired state of the art diagnostic equipment, and modern energy audit instruments to train technicians and practicing engineers at its training school. The training facility can house about twenty (20) persons at a time and our attached workshop is always opened for practical demonstrations to course participants. On request, the training program can be scheduled on location of the client for much more practical relativity and appreciation, since course participants would be in their normal work environment. Our course facilitators are seasoned engineering practitioners with several years of practical industrial experience. We can assure everyone who attends our training school that, their view of engineering practice will never be the same. Topical areas for the training sessions include:
