Electrical Control, Panel Design and Build & Refurbishment Works
Intermerc has an equipped workshop and workshop teams that develop custom design concepts based on client applications and put together Electrical control panels within a turnaround clock. Onsite control panel retrofitting and refurbishments works is also our expertise- we understand the downtime concept and provide on site solutions to our clients.
AUTOMATION, INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS
As system integrators with a strong partnership with industrial automation giants like Rockwell Automation, Siemens (TIA) and Emerson industrial automation, Intermerc has the advanced capability to develop and complete turnkey automation and instrumentation projects.
SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL SYSTEMS & PARTS
Owing to the unique application of each client, we have put in place several diverse projects. This necessitated the stocking of various groups of electrical and mechanical systems and parts for maintenance of such projects. With our international buying houses, we have with years of experience procured several systems for the industrial and commercial sectors in Ghana and other West African nations.
PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE & SYSTEM AUDIT
This is one of our newly set up departments that has been running for the past few years. The aim of this department is to continuously carry out audits of running electrical, mechanical and civil (structural) systems and bring out findings for effective decisions to be taken in maintenance planning and subsequently avoid unexpected system failures. We employ the different types of analysis, which comprises of Energy/Power quality analysis, Vibration Analysis and Thermography.
TRAINING
Intermerc Ghana Ltd in response to this cogent need of industry has acquired state of the art diagnostic equipment, and modern energy audit instruments to train technicians and practicing engineers at its training school. The training facility can house about twenty (20) persons at a time and our attached workshop is always opened for practical demonstrations to course participants. On request, the training program can be scheduled on location of the client for much more practical relativity and appreciation, since course participants would be in their normal work environment. Our course facilitators are seasoned engineering practitioners with several years of practical industrial experience. We can assure everyone who attends our training school that, their view of engineering practice will never be the same. Topical areas for the training sessions include: Industrial Electrical Engineering, Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, PLC/ HMI/ SCADA Systems, Motor starter systems—AC/DC drives, Soft Starters etc. & Energy Management Systems
